It is important to look our best for all performances. Students are required to dress for a concert in the following:

  • White, long-sleeved, collared dress shirt
  • Black dress pants
  • Black dress shoes
  • Black socks
  • For the 6th grade uniform, we ask that the young men wear a tie, young ladies may also if they wish.
  • For 7th and 8th grade, bow ties and cummerbunds are provided by the school.
  • If you are unable to obtain the above items for any reason simply contact either band director and the TMS Band will loan you a complete uniform.
(Band After School Help) continues every Monday through Thursday from 2:45-3:25 PM, and is a great time for students to get together and play with friends! This opportunity counts on the practice reflection and is QUITE fun to attend.

Hello TMS Band Families!

Welcome to the
2019-2020 Band Year!
We are looking forward to the best year EVER with our students!

We will use SCHOOLOGY to update students and parents/guardians.  There you can find a calendar of events, forms, the handbook, Pike's Peak Honor Band information, and more.

Thank you for your support of the Timberview Middle School Band program and for giving your student the opportunity to learn more about music and life through performance. We are having a fantastic time with these special kids and are looking forward to great concerts!

Mr. Bruszewski and Mrs. Ellenberger

Welcome to the Timberview Bands website! The TMS Bands are under the direction of Melissa Ellenberger and Tom Bruszewski. The band program at Timberview consists of roughly 400 students.  Each grade level band is split between two periods.  TMS also offers two jazz bands, BLUE Jazz Band meets on Tues/Thurs has a traditional jazz band instrumentation.  SILVER Jazz Band meets on Mon/Wed and will allow students playing almost any instrument to join.  The directors at TMS offer Band After School Help (B.A.S.H.) program.

The ensembles have consistently received Superior ratings at regional music festivals and have also had the honor of performing at the Colorado Music Educator's Association annual conference on multiple occasions. The Timberview band program strives to help each student reach their full musical potential as well as have a fun and memorable experience in band!

Thank you all for the opportunity to work with such wonderful students and families. We know how lucky we are to be a part of the Timberview community and will never forget these special times!
